Brian Norris

Hello, I'm
Brian

A man with a bald head, glasses, and a beard is smiling slightly. He is wearing a blue button-up shirt with small white patterns, and the background is a plain light color.
A photo of me.

My interest in the web started in high school, messing around on Geocities. I pursued graphic design, earned a BFA from Missouri State, and spent years doing print and identity work while building websites along the way. Eventually, I found I enjoyed web work more and pivoted to focus on development full time so I could go deeper.

For over a decade, I led front-end development at Marlin Connections, building user-facing features for food-service products. Alongside that, I spent eight semesters teaching design students at Missouri State, from graphic design to basic web coding.
